Is it ok to buy a dehydrator for chicken or beef treats for my dog? (I feed raw)?
I’m wondering if it would be a good idea to buy a dehydrator to make some chicken or beef treats for my dog. I want something that I can take with me or use as training treats. I don’t want to hold raw meat pieces as treats because I’ll get sick. I feed raw now but that’s different because I wash my hands right after. I want treats to go and I want treats that will last long outside of the fridge. Can I do this at home rather than buy jerky treats in stores which may contain who knows what!

It always makes me laugh out loud when people say “never feed your dog raw meat!” Haha… how about, never answer a question unless you know what you’re talking about?
You can actually buy pre-dehydrated chicken breast that can be easily broken up into pieces and used for training. They have liver as well. Probably more cost-effective than actually buying a dehydrator.
