Dog health question- can anyone help? I’m panicking!?
My dog and I have just got back from the lake district- we have been there a week. My 7 year old jack russell was flea/tick treated before we went away.He is very healthy and trim dog. Tonight, after we got home at 1pm i took my dog on a run at 5pm ish where i threw the ball for him and he loved it (as usual)! When we were home i fed him his usual meal of dry biscuits and a wet meat pouch of dog food which he loves, but he still has not touched it. We went on holiday with my mothers dog who he loves to bits but does not live with and at first i thought since he was with my mothers dog for a week he may be pining a little? But as the night progressed, my dogs tummy has been really loudly grumbling and bubbling and he looks down on his luck too. He has also been shaking/shivering a little but this has settled down a bit since then.
So, his symptoms are moodiness, trembling, off his food and a very loud gurgling tummy! Any help, would be gratefully received!

Very doubtful that the flea treatment has much to do with this after a week of being ok. He might just be sulking but just in case watch him for any distress and offer plenty of water (no food for right now) If he is whining or showing any signs of pain call the vet. If he isn’t just watch him overnight and offer him his food in the morning. If he doesn’t show any interest give your vet a call. When in doubt always get medical help just in case he has gotten into something or is sick.
This is one of the reasons to always have a good relationship with your vet…mine will take a call 24/7 and always encourages me to call if something is wrong with my animals.
