Any tips on taking dogs on vacation??
So, next week Im taking my two dogs with me on vacation with my family. My mom and I took them to the vet a week ago and got them both microchipped, and got them tested for heartworm (they both didnt have it). I have bought two crates.

The dogs are small. We are going to take their favorite toys with us, their food, some water bottles, treats, leases, and a little dog first aid kit. Is all that enough for the dogs?? Are there any other tips that ya can give me?
Oh.. yeah. The trip is 12 hours.. but we are going to stop for one night at a dog friendly hotel.
My dogs LOVE going on car rides, and we always drive them around for a little bit. They dont really get car sick, sometimes they lie down and sleep if we drive for quite a while.
sounds like you thought of a lot already. Good planning. the only thing I can think of is doggy bags to pick up their poo.
