This math question i cannot get..?
Nick plans to start a home-based business producing and selling gourmet dog treats. He figures it will cost $20 in operation costs per week plus $0.50 to produce each treat. He plans to sell each treat for $1.50.
1. How many treasts does Nick need to sell per week to break even?
20 treats.
Since it costs 50 cents to make each treat, he is really only making a dollar off of each one (instead of the $1.50 he charges). So since he needs to make twenty dollars, he needs to sell 20.
