My dog has had diarrhea for the past 2 1/2 days. Is there anything I can do at home for her?
She has had no changes to her diet. She is eating less food now though.
Definitely bring her into the vet (or at least call the vet’s office). In the meantime, you can give her some rice, as well as some of the water that the rice was boiled in. The starch in the rice water is binding and should help to alleviate the diarrhea. It also will ensure fluids are being taken in. Food is less important at this point than water, so make sure she is drinking enough.
