Dog biscuits pulled from shelf, pup already ate half of a bag, will he be ok?
Petsmart voluntarily pulled them from the shelf because of the peanut butter recall. He has already gone through half of a bag. Are dogs resistant to salmonella? Should I throw away the unused portion? Could they be safe?
Uh, he did not eat half the bag in 1 day. I had gone to petsmart today to buy usual supplies and saw the recall notice. First I had heard about it. Oh and I found the bag and checked the UPC number and saw it was one of the recalled products. I will definitely return it to the store.
i wouldn’t give him any more of them . if he hasn’t got sick he may not but just to be safe i wouldn’t give him any more of them , i would also keep the bag of treats just in case something does happen and he has to go to the vet. then again they may be alright . i would hang on to them and make sure everything is ok… you might be able to take them bak to petsmart and get him some different treats …. hope the little guy dont get sick..
