I thought I’d share my dog biscuit recipe!?
Its really easy, and it tastes great, well my dog rekons anyway.
All you need is about 2 cups of bread crumbs, two eggs, and some powdered chicken stock.
Just mix it all together, and make it into a dough, then use cookie cutters to cut out the dough, then bake on 250 degrees celsius for about 15 minutes.
They turn out quite crunchy, which is great for your baby’s teeth.

Sounds nice – but please check the ingredients in the powdered chicken stock. Usually stock powders contain large amounts of highly concentrated onion powder which can be fatal to dogs. Make sure your chicken stock DOESN’T contain onion powder (it’s actually more concentrated than eating the onion off your plate).
I never knew about the onion thing until recently when one of my elderly dogs had a bad anemia episode (almost killed him), which the vet suggested was caused by him eating onions – he had done this for 12 years, but apparently some dogs are more susceptible than others to onion, and it can “add up” in their system over the years.
Incidentally, when we got a Greyhound, the first thing we were told on diets was DEFINATELY no onions….. who knew?!
