Has anyone had a dog get very sick after eating Mini Dingo Meat In The Middle Treats?
I want to thank all of you who answered my question. Sadly my beautiful 5 year old healthy Rottweiler died at 2:30 this morning. He was very well taken care of and had nothing different in his diet or surroundings except those treats. I regret buying them for him. My husband and I are broken hearted. Thanks again for your help.
I’ve never fed them to my dogs as there’s a few different things about them that could make them sick..
First of all, they’re made out of rawhide which is notorious for causing intestinal blockages. Nothing like a dog treat that causes the need for expensive surgeries! Also, most rawhide treats are treated with all kinds of chemicals to preserve them. When I worked in a pet food department, we always had one rawhide treat or another being recalled for bacterial issues too.
All I give my dogs for treats are regular old freeze-dried liver for a training treat,and raw soup bones from the meat department or butcher for them to chew on..
