California Natural Dog Food Recalls

What food should I feed my puppy?

I currently feed her Castor and Pollux Natural Ultra mix, mixed with Nutro Lamb and Rice puppy food, but I am not sure if they are good dog foods. They have lamb meal and chicken meal as the first ingredients and there are dried fruits and vegetables in the Castor and Pollux one, but people keep saying that I am feeding her the wrong food, and that I should feed her Blue Buffalo. The thing is, I USED to feed Luna Blue Buffalo, but that gave her horrible diarrhea, and they just had a big recall. So what food should I feed my puppy? I was feeding her California Natural and then we mixed it in with Castor and Pollux and Nutro, but we stopped getting California Natural because the PetSmart stopped buying it, and the local pet and feed store only sells the tiny bags of it. So, what should I feed Luna?

P.S
Raw is not an option, because for some reason, dogs can’t become certified therapy dogs if you feed them raw.

Castor and Pollux and Blue Buffalo are both excellent foods. Neither uses corn of any kind (it does not matter at all what color it is or whether it is ground), wheat or soy, all common allergens. Neither “splits” ingredients. They both add healthful fruits and vegetables and use chelated minerals. Neither uses the synthetic vitamin k, menadione. Nutro is nowhere near the same quality and costs as much or more. Other good choices are: Orijen, Wellness, Taste of the Wild, Merrick, Solid Gold, Canidae, Pinnacle, Dogswell and Halo.
