Is this okay for my dog to have?
Okay so my dog has Pancreatitis (He is only a year old…..don’t know what caused it since he doesn’t eat table scraps at all never has… possibly he was predisposed or it could have been the crap dog food we used to feed him)
anyways we were told just to keep him on low fat dog food (He eats California Naturals)
But he does like his chew bones and I was wondering if it was still safe to give him those?
We switch it up….some are for teeth cleaning others are just rawhides……he gets bully sticks too……
We are just curious if those are still okay for him to have? Or if he can only have his food?
He hates the kong and I don’t want him to have a real bone that splinters…….but he likes the rawhides and bully sticks

have you tried Nylabones? They are a hard rubber bone for dogs to chew. They don’t splinter and they don’t have any sharp edges that would cut his gums. My dogs never liked kongs either. As with any toy though you should always supervise their play so they don’t choke or ingest any.
